We are looking for a Junior Software Release Manager to join our team and help to ensure fast and consistent high-quality platform release. Junior Software Release Manager will work closely with different teams from the beginning of the project and see it through to the moment of release.

As the Junior Software Release Manager, you will report to the Release Manager for AccelByte Cloud platform, manage a cross-functional team consisting of QA and DevOps to plan project delivery, and schedule faster and more frequent delivery of software. This is especially important as the core of DevOps mentality is releasing new software in shorter time increments to reach end-users faster.
You will collaborate with the producers, engineering leads, QA, and project managers to onboard new clients, plan environment provisioning and bring platform updates to clients in a timely manner. You will understand the problem space, prioritize different efforts around operational, CI/CD, platform deployment and organize the team efforts to implement solutions to solve the problem. You will track the release metrics and continuously improve the release process.
The ideal candidate would have the combination of project managerial skill as well as technical understanding of cloud operation, with the ability to adapt and operate with unknowns, the humbleness to constantly learn and adapt, and the conviction towards building better processes to consistently deliver high-quality products.
