Our Mission

We are game industry veterans with years of experience building and operating live systems. As a rapidly growing startup with teams around the world, we craft technology solutions to serve game studios that are making the next generation of games. We are looking for a Back End Engineer, who is equally at home communicating with AAA clients and senior technical staff.  To join our team and help to manage our AccelByte BlackBox Product clients.

In this position you will be working with clients, primarily game studios, building, supporting, and maintaining the next generation of their online web service platform that is highly scalable, secure, and available using Go and cloud technologies. A significant part of this role will include troubleshooting problems clients may have when using our platform and finding fast, effective workarounds and fixes. Some travel may be required for this position to client locations.


  • A great communicator who enjoys working with people as much as code
  • A problem solver who enjoys finding simple solutions to complex problems
  • 3+ years experience using Go
  • Degree in Computer Science or similarly related subject or experience
  • Prior experience developing microservices in the cloud using Go
  • Ability to write scalable Go code adhering to the best practices
  • Solid security best practices
  • Forward thinking and up to date on current and emerging architecture patterns

Nice to haves

  • Experience in designing and deploying services in AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure for millions of users
  • AAA game studio experience
  • Knowledge about Linux
